Gallery

In 1999, Thomas Williams Fine Art moved to its new purpose-built premises at 22 Old Bond Street, London. The gallery was designed to show mainly representational art by contemporary British and International artists. Exhibitions of their work take place throughout the year.
A significant part of the gallery's policy has been to create a platform for younger artists. This includes support and encouragement from the first stages of preparation through to the completion of each project. It also allows their work to be shown alongside that of more established artists. Thomas Williams Fine Art places particular emphasis on showing directly commissioned work, rather than relying on the secondary market.
Since 1987 the gallery has also been dealing in Old Master Drawings from the 15th to the 19th centuries. It has placed works of the highest quality in museums and private collections, specialising in the Italian, French, Dutch and English schools. The gallery continues to acquire drawings, advise collectors and accept works on consignment. A selection of the gallery's stock is exhibited each July as part of the 'Master Drawings in London' annual event.
